Saturdays, July 27-August 31, 2024 
At Momentum Dance Arts Studio at 13100  Tech City Circle in Alachua, Fl.

Come make friends, play theater games, & develop acting skills such as projection, enunciation, & improvisation! 
We will practice tongue twisters, learn stage directions, gain confidence, and perform for our families on the  final day of the Workshop!

Fairy Tale Children’s Theatre Workshop, Ages 5 to 12, Noon to 12:50pm
Performing adaptations of  Little Red Riding Hood & Goldilocks & the Three Bears

Animal Adventures Children’s Theatre Workshop, Ages 5 to 12, 1pm to 1:50pm
Performing an adaptation of A.A. Milne’s Winnie the Pooh

Musical Theatre Audition Workshop, Ages 7 to 17, 2pm to 3pm
Strengthen your audition skills, build confidence, and improve stage presence. 
Practice and learn audition songs and monologues where you will shine!  Participate in a mock audition!

Shakespeare Children’s Theatre Workshop, Ages 10 to 17
Expand your acting repertoire, learning about Shakespeare in a fun way and performing one of his beloved Comedies,
an abridged version of A Midsummer Night’s Dream, in language children and modern audiences can understand!

A.C.T. Artisitic Director, Ms. Amber
Ms. Amber created A.C.T. in 2023 to share the joy of theatre with her three children and the youth of our community. Very active with Children’s Theatre in her youth, Amber received training in acting, singing, and dance, performing both on stage and film sets in Hollywood. Ms. Amber received her Bachelor of Arts in Theatre from the University of Southern California with a minor in Business Administration. She studied Shakespeare at the British American Drama Academy in London, England, and has performed internationally aboard Oceania Cruises. Amber was recently awarded Best Performance in a Character Role from High Springs Playhouse, performing alongside her three children in ‘A Christmas Story.’ With a wealth of experience working with children as a former Elementary School Teacher and Youth Activities Counselor aboard Disney Cruise Line, Ms. Amber is thrilled to welcome you to the A.C.T. Family!

A.C.T. Assistant Director, Ms. Alison
Ms. Alison is a loving wife and mother of two, who has a passion for the arts. She has performed in many musical theatre productions, performing such roles as “Dorothy” in The Wizard of Oz, “Alice” in Alice in Wonderland, and “Nancy” in Oliver Twist. She also has an extensive ballet background, performing and studying with such companies as the California Riverside Ballet, Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre, and Joffrey Ballet in New York City. She is excited to have been involved with ACT this past year, helping children discover a love of the arts and performance.

A.C.T. Assistant Director, Ms. Hilary
Ms. Hilary loves playing theatre games with our actors and has a lot of experience working with youth theatre. Her two children have been our backstage crew our first two productions, while Ms. Hilary was Assistant Director for A.C.T.’s A Seussified Christmas Carol.
